In his op-ed piece, he says he rode a tea-party-like wave of voter discontent to presidential victory. Then he turns around, awkwardly, and bashes the . . . tea party.
He has a point--the political center has all but disappeared. And with it, voter confidence.
There are a whole lot more people like me out here--but neither party seems to care. Politics has such wild swings because the parties are so polarized.
