So how do you pronounce Paul Krugman? Is it Krugman as in "crewg-man" or Krugman as in "crug-man"? Assuming you care . . .
If you haven't heard of this fellow, I'm relieved to hear it.
So let me fill you in. He's a New York Times columnist. Having said that, it won't surprise you to learn that his economic philosophy is for our government to
If that kind of logic hurts your head, you are not alone.
Some people kindly call these "pour-gasoline-on-an-uncontrollable fire-to-put-it-out" folks Keynesians. Which I find incredibly charitable. Me? I say "Keynesian" is a just a euphemism for "cunning CYA politician" or "irrational idiot." But what does it matter? They're synonymous.
So however this Keynesian Mr. K would like his name pronounced, I don't much care.
In fact, I'd prefer to call him Krudman and whether the U is long or short matters not. Crud is crud and crude is crude. Both fit him to a "T."
While we're on the topic of Keynesian economics, though, please consider this article by Congressman Paul Ryan.

It's a bit dense but well worth your time.
Here's a quick video clip of his unheeded concerns about our unfunded Obamacare scheme:
If you didn't understand everything he said, I feel better, because neither did I. He's clearly the high IQ wonk man on the R side. If you find yourself getting lost in the weeds, at least notice Obama's transparent, hardened expression. He looks ready to pounce and awfully mad. And that's mighty telling.
P.S. You can find Mr. Ryan's road map to non-third-worldness here.
As an added bonus, the next time you hear yet another Democrat claim the "Republicans have offered no options for health care or a plan for our economic recovery," you can direct them to this link.
For a sampling of Mr. Krugman's drivel, don your imagination goggles and hop on over here.
Finally, I would point out that not all conservatives march in lock-step and agree with Mr. Ryan's road map. And that is encouraging. It shows they've actually read and evaluated his plan.
Which is more than I can say for the sycophant Krudman and all the Ds who voted for a health care overhaul law they never bothered to read or understand.

Dr. Krugman won the Nobel prize in Economics last year. Supposedly, that means he's really, really smart.
But this is the same Nobel committee who gave a prize to Al Gore and Obama, so...
Bravo, Mother. You are the "critical thinking" champion.
